Asus is working on the next generation gaming smartphone dubbed as Asus ROG Phone 5. The smartphone was previously spotted on several Certification websites and now we spotted this smartphone in the Geekbench 5 listing which reveals some key specifications of the smartphone. Asus ROG Phone 5 Geekbench
The smartphone appeared on the Geekbench 5 listing with the model number ASUS_I005DA. The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC with the base frequency of 1.8GHz and might be coupled with up to 16GB Ram.
The smartphone managed to score 1131 points in the single-core test and 3729 points in the multi-core test. The smartphone will run on Android 11 OS and ZenUI on the top.
According to the TENNA listing, the upcoming Asus ROG Phone 5 appears on TENNA with the model number of ASUS_I005DA. The smartphone will feature a 6.78-inch display that could offer 144Hz refresh rate panel and HDR10+ certified.
The smartphone will measure 172.83×77.2×10.2mm. The smartphone will pack a dual 3000mAh battery of a total 6000mAh battery. Also, the smartphone will be run on Android 11 OS out of the box.
Previously the 3C Certification revealed that the smartphone will support 65W fast charging. The charger output is 5V/3A (15w, normal mode), 9v/3A (27w), 15V/3A (45W) and 20V/3.25A (65W). Apart from the battery charging, the smartphone will also support 5G connectivity as the smartphone is expected to be powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G SoC coupled with Adreno 660 GPU and based on 5nm technology.
