Honor is all set to launch its new 5G smartphone, which is called Honor V40 5G. The company first set a launch date of January 18, but the company changed the launch date to January 22 for issues with the conference site and equipment.
The company officially confirmed on Weibo that the smartphone will launch on January 22 at 10 am (local time) and sales will start at 12 pm on the same day.

According to earlier reports, the Honor V40 5G may have a 6.76-inch OLED display with a screen refresh rate of 120Hz, with a touch sampling rate of 300Hz.
The device can be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimension 1000+ processor, and can be paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM. The smartphone will come with 5G connectivity and the company also confirmed it.
Honor V40 5G can come with two storage options which include 128GB and 256GB which can be extended via microSD card.
The teaser image states that the upcoming device comes with a quad-camera setup with LED flash. The primary camera will be a 50-megapixel sensor and the company has already confirmed this. It can be paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
For the selfie, the smartphone will come with a dual front-camera setup with a 32-megapixel primary sensor and a 16-megapixel secondary sensor.
The smartphone can be packed with a 4,000mAh battery and the 3C certification also confirms that the smartphone will have 66W wired fast charging support via a Type-C port and will also support 45W wireless fast charging.
