MediaTek has previously unveiled a lot of mid-range / flagship processors and will be introducing a new chipset on the market.
Today there is a new leak that indicates the emergence of a new MediaTek processor based on 6 nm architecture.
The next processor name is not confirmed, although it has leaked its model number (MT689X) and some of its features and specifications.

The new MediaTek MT689X processor has the same architecture as Samsung’s next Exynos 1080 chip.
The leak has come with the aid of the well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, which shared the Weibo details.
According to the Mysmartprice, MediaTek MT689X will be a 6nm 5G chipset processor.
The processor is known to be combined with an Arm Mali G77 GPU, used by processors such as Exynos 990 and the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+.
Finally, the leakster argues that on an AnTuTu benchmarking platform, the MediaTek MT689X is roughly 600k, which is almost the same score as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC.
Apart from what we have described above, the MediaTek MT689X processor currently contains little details.
We don’t know which computer or brand will first use this processor. That said, because the leaks have already begun to occur, in the next few days we should expect to learn more about this processor.
