Tuesday’s Inno Day 2020 event in Oppo featured three new design gadgets. The Oppo X 2021, the Oppo AR Glass 2021 and Oppo CybeReal AR applications include the devices that the company has launched today.
The company also presented its 3+N+X Technology Growth Plan at the event, where ‘3’ refers to three underlying technologies – hardware, software and services, ‘N’ refers to various corporate technology for example AI, protection, privacy, multimedia and interconnection, and ‘X’ refers to different technologies and strategic tools, including AI, security and privacy.
“OPPO uses technology to allow individuals to capture the beauty surrounding themselves and unleash their imagination of the future.
Therefore, we decide to develop OPPO’s 3+N+X long-term growth technology strategy,” said Tony Chen, founder, and chief executive officer of OPPO.
The rollable smartphone Oppo X 2021 is fitted with a 6.7-inch OLED display that is flexible to the height of 7.4 inches.
It features three proprietary technology for the company including the Roll Motor, 2-in-1 Plate and high-strength laminate for self-developed Warp Track.
On the other hand, the Oppo AR Glass 2021 is lightweight, ultra-light and nearly 75% lighter than its predecessor.
Built with the optical solution from Birdbath, it improves the immersive experience. It features a range of sensors including a stereo, a ToF and an RGB monitor.
Finally, Oppo supported three main technologies, including the precise reconstruction of the world by centimetres, the high-precision localization and Oppo cloud in real time.
The CybeReal AR framework is driven by real-time, spatial calculation technology which allows for high-precision position and scene recognition.
