According to this post, the upcoming Redmi K40 series will be launching in the February month.
The leaked image shows two different retail boxes but the only difference is the size of the retail box, one is thicker while the other one is thinner. It is speculated that the thinner retail box suggests that this box smartphone didn’t come with any charger.
Lu Weibing previously confirmed that the upcoming Redmi K40 pro smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 888 5G SoC.
The upcoming Redmi K40 series is expected to have at least two models, the Redmi K40 and K40 Pro. The phones may come with an AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout in the top-center for housing the selfie camera.
While the Pro will be powered by snapdragon 888 5G processor, the Redmi K40 is expected to be powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 775G chipset. As of now, we know that the upcoming Redmi K40 Pro model starts with the price tag of 2,998 yuan, approx 33,700 rupees.
