Samsung officially announced their new flagship Exynos 2100 SoC for upcoming Flagship Devices. The Exynos 2100 is a 5nm based processor with upgraded CPU, GPU, and AI performance. This SoC also has a built-in 5G modem for 5G connectivity.
Exynos 2100 Specs
Talking about the specs of the processor, the new samsung’s flagship SoC built on 5nm FinFET technology which boosts power efficiency.
The SoC has 1×3×4 CPU core configuration. Here the first core is a powerful Cortex-X1 CPU which is clocked up to 2.9GHz. The single Cotex-X1 CPU improves single-core performance by up to 19 percent and 33 percent improvement in multi-core performance for faster loading and fluency multitasking.
The triple core is a Cortex-A78 CPU which is clocked up to 2.8GHz and the quad core is a Cortex-A55 CPU which is clocked up to 2.2GHz and this is power efficiency cores.
For gaming, the Exynos 2100 SoC offers Mali-G78 GPU for stable performance improvements of up to 46 percent. The SoC also features new AMIGO technology which offers stable frame rates in heavy gaming.
The SoC also brings a new ISP that supports camera resolutions up to 200-megapixel and also supports up to six cameras which produces very high quality detail in photos. The new AI helps to automatically identify subjects and improves the image quality settings and creates great photos. The SoC also supports 4K video recording at 120 FPS and 8K video recording at 60 FPS.
The built-in 5G modem supports both sub-6GHz and mmWave spectrums and boost download speeds of up to 5.1Gbps for the uploading speeds up to 7.3Gbps.
The SoC also supports a 4k display with 120Hz refresh rate and QHD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate and also supports LPDDR5 Ram type and UFS 3.1 storage type.
