Samsung is expected to launch its new flagship Galaxy S21 series on 14 January 2021. As launch time comes closer, the upcoming Galaxy S21 series leaks frequently.
The Galaxy S21+ has also been found on FCC certification site following the Galaxy S21. This listing doesn’t reveal anything about the smartphone. But it is reported that the American version of the Galaxy S21 series will be fitted with a 5G chipset from Qualcomm which should be Snapdragon 888 5G.
In the listing, the chipset is revealed with SM8350 codename. In the Galaxy S & Note series, the American and Chinese versions usually have Qualcomm’s chipset, not Exynos. In the other nations, the Exynos models will be launched.
As I mentioned above, the American version is fitted with the Snapdragon 888 5G Soc. This is an octa-core chipset based on a 5nm FinFET technology. The chipset maximum frequency is 2.84GHz.
The Galaxy S21+ smartphone may come with a triple rear-camera setup. 12MP primary sensor, 64MP secondary sensor and last one is 12MP sensor. This is almost similar to the previous Galaxy S20+.
The pre-orders are already open for the Galaxy S21 series in China. The buyers can pay 100 Yuans (roughly 15 USD) to pre-order this device.
