Samsung’s upcoming flagship processor, the Exynos 2100, has been in the news for a long time. Last month, IceUniverse reported that the upcoming Exynos 2100 Soc will be more powerful than the Snapdragon flagship chipset.
According to leaks, the Exynos 2100 might be built with 5nm FinFET technology similar to other major chipset available in the market. Now, Samsung will announce the next Exynos processor on 12 January 2021, which might be the Exynos 2100.
Samsung Exynos post with a video in their twitter handle to share the announcement with the hashtag “#Exynos_is_back”. The upcoming flagship Exynos processor might come in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 series devices.
According to the latest rumors Exynos 2100 will use 1+3+4 CPU core configuration. The one ARM X1 Prime core will be clocked at 2.91 GHz while the other three performance cores Cortex-A78 will be clocked at 2.81GHz. The remaining four will be Cortex-A55 power-efficient cores clocked at 2.21GHz. This chipset will have an integrated Mali-G78 GPU.
The Exynos 2100 will be the successor to the Exynos 990 that is available in Samsung flagship, including the Galaxy S20 series.
