On December 30, Vivo launched a new entry-level smartphone in India called Vivo Y20A. The smartphone is the latest phone to vivo’s Y-series. The smartphone comes with entry-level features like Snapdragon 439 Soc, HD+ display and the device costs ₹11,490 for the 3GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.
The smartphone will be available in India in colour variants, Nebula Blue and Dawn White. It will be available for purchase via partner retail stores, Vivo’s official shop, and other major e-commerce platforms from January 2, 2021.
Vivo Y20A Specification
As I told earlier this is an entry-level smartphone from Vivo. So you can not expect high grade specs and features. Vivo Y20A features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with the resolution of 720×1600 pixels and has 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 Soc paired with Adreno 505 GPU and clocked at 2.0GHz.
The device is coupled with 3GB of Ram with 64GB of storage that can be upgraded upto 256GB via dedicated MicroSD Card Slot.
Talking about the camera, the smartphone has a triple rear camera set-up. The primary camera is a 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor with f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. At the front, the smartphone has a water-drop notch display where a 8-megapixel sensor is located with f/1.8 aperture for capturing the selfies.
Connectivity aspects Vivo Y20A include Bluetooth 4.2, MicroUSB port, GPS, FM Radio, and more.
Vivo Y20A packed with a massive 5,000mAh battery with standard 10W charging support. Vivo claims that you can enjoy more than 17 hours of online HD videos streaming and more than 10 hours of gaming time in a single full charge.
The handset comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and the device is running on FuntouchOS 11 based on Android 11 OS.
